The myth
"My car's new, it doesn't need paint correction."
Swirls are tiny canyons cut into your clear coat. Correction levels the clear coat down to the bottom of them: no new paint, just fixing what's there. And since there's only so much clear coat to work with, polish it once, then protect it with ceramic or PPF.
